For the first half of 2008, there was an 11 percent membership growth over the first half of 2007. In June alone, TheKnot.com closed the month with a record-breaking 116,000 new members. This is the highest number for June on record, 13 percent above the site’s past record of 103,000 in June 2006.
With more than 1.1 million new registered members annually, The Knot is the #1 wedding brand with the greatest number of members and online traffic.
Today’s announcement demonstrates the site’s continued strength despite growing online competition to capture the dominant share of today’s brides who turn to the Internet for wedding-planning tools, products, and services.
