Wedding Tracker, a division of The Knot Inc., was founded in September 2001, and is committed to building the most feature-rich and easy-to-use wedding planning and website service. The company launched its first service, a web-based wedding planning and management software, in February of 2002. It then expanded its service to include a complete personal wedding website builder in September of 2002. The new service allows couples to build a customized wedding website that is hosted and maintained by Wedding Tracker. Each couple's website is maintained separately with its own unique domain name and is integrated with the couples wedding planning account.
