Software Development Manager - .Net/Mobile

We are seeking a Software Development Manager who will be heading up internal teams which are focused on both .Net and mobile development for our various websites and brands. The ideal candidate must be passionate, resourceful, and well organized with strong leadership abilities. They will work very closely with product owners as well as with the development team to ensure our software is of the highest quality from both an end-user and technical perspective.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide leadership to the team and be the central point of contact for questions and recommendations.
  • Manage the development staff to ensure everyone is working toward the same goals and maximize synergies where possible.
  • Guide the overall architecture of the applications to ensure they are flexible, maintainable, and scalable while meeting the needs of the business.
  • Communicate with project manager and business owners on a regular basis which includes participating in roadmap planning and providing feedback on ways to best achieve business goals.
  • Own the technical vision of the products for which you are responsible as well as the plan to achieve them.
  • Prioritize, escalate, and troubleshoot issues by involving necessary team members.
Qualifications:
  • Senior level professional with five or more years of significant software development experience.
  • Experience leading a team of geographically distributed developers.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and decision making skills.
  • Experience in the following technologies: Web: Html, JavaScript, Ajax, Asp.Net, C#, IIS.Mobile: Xcode, Android.
  • Ability to strive in a structured yet dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and lead effectively.
  • Major Plus: Proficiency in conversational Mandarin.
